Lauderdale Small Boat Club
General Meeting
September 10, 2007
The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM with Commodore Prochaska presiding. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. All Board members except Docks and Grounds were present. Docks and Grounds wasexcused.
Membership’s Report
Thomas Terwilliger, Michael Jaramillo and John "John Boy" Landi were introduced for the first time. William King Jr., Mark Modzelewski, and Richard Masten were reintroduced. They were voted into the Club and were duly sworn.
Planning’s Report
The Bimini Run was not well attended. Two boats attended. The members that went had a good time. There will be a "get to know your neighbor dock party" on November 3rd. It will be a covered dish event. There will be grilles available.
Social’s Report
There was a social Acme "clean up the kitchen day". It was very successful. There will be another social Acme this Saturday, September 15th. November 10th will be the 50’s and 60’s Car Show. The Halloween Party will be October 27th. We will have the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Get your costume ready. The Dockmaster needs volunteers on Sept 17th and 18th to strip and wax the floors in the Clubhouse.
Treasurer’s Report
On revenues of $56,156, there was again of $9199.
Five members resigned in good standing and two certified letters were sent. James Lynch and Robert Schmidt were dropped from the Club for non-payment.

Vice Commodore’s Report
The VC updated membership on the donations for the Charity Event. Please use your contacts to help get donations.
Commodore’s Report
Permits have been applied for the fuel tank installation and hood installation.
Dockmaster’s Comments
Please check the size of your boat before you bid for a slip.
