LSBC is a private small boat club located at the SW corner of Fort Lauderdale Airport on the Dania Cutoff canal

 

Everything you could ask for to dock and maintain your boat

We provide dockage for boats up to 31 feet, haul out facilities, boat ramp, a fuel dock with 90 octane ethanol free fuel at the lowest price on the water and many other conveniences for boaters including Do-It -Yourself (DIY) facilities.  You can save thousands of dollars in maintenance costs even if you dock your boat at home. All for under $35 per month for your membership and less than $125 per month for a slip.

 

Social activities and events year round

Our air conditioned 2500 square foot club house has two pool tables, the Parrot Head Bar, big screen TV, dance floor and stage.  It can accommodate parties of up to 160 people.  We have outdoor shaded seating (on the water) and a stage for live bands (country music, rock and roll, jazz, etc.) plus a large “barbecue pit” kitchen. Breakfast and lunch is served every Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Every Wednesday and Friday evening we have a “social hour” starting at 6:00 p.m.

 

The unique ambience of a “private club”

 Our members are treated to a variety of social events which include “Happy Hours” at our Parrott Head Bar every Friday night, Wednesday night pot luck covered dish dinners, fishing tournaments, and numerous events for members and their families.  A partial list of the events include:  Dinghy Runs, Get-to-know-your-neighbor dock parties, Michelle Anderson Kids Kane Pole tournament, Luau, Polish Dinner Night, Dolls Fishing Tournament, Dads’ Fishing Tournament, Dolphin Days Fish Fry, classic car shows, golf tournaments, charity auction, etc.

 

Giving back to the community

Each year we get to give back to the community through waterway clean-up, charity events and special projects like restoring the Value Jet Memorial. Many members find the marina a great place to “hang out” and relax with friends and family.

LSBC is a private small boat club established in 1948.  We have 270 slips available to our club members.  We are one of the oldest private clubs in the county. We have grown immensely over the past 30 years, from a hole in the ground that accommodated a few boats to a family oriented Boat Club that has 225 in-water slips and 45 on-trailer slips.  Thanks to the sweat-equity and donations of our members over these years, we have been able to provide the special atmosphere and surroundings that our members have come to enjoy, appreciate and expect from our club.  The past feelings of camaraderie and membership that were the foundation of the Club continue to flourish today.
